A court in Helsinki on Thursday sentenced a Russian captain and an Azerbaijani crew associate of the Fitburg ship to prison terms, uncovering them guilty of sabotage and demolition of undersea telecommunications cables. A ship sailing from Russia damaged cables leading from Helsinki to Tallinn on fresh Year's Eve 2025.
