Hungary will not leave the European Union, but together with the Patriots for Europe, we will reconstruct its form to 2 decades ago – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban wrote on Friday in consequence to the head of the Warsaw Group, Donald Tusk.
“Dear Donald, don’t get your hopes up besides high. Hungary will not leave the European Union. We will transform it together with the Patriots for Europe to bring it back to the same state as it was erstwhile Poland and Hungary joined it," we read on the X Orban platform.
According to him, in 2004, erstwhile both countries joined the Community, "Brexel bureaucrats served people alternatively than themselves", and "did not interfere in the associate States' interior political debates, as they do present in Poland and Hungary".
Orban stated on Wednesday that if the EU had looked as it did in 2004, its country would most likely not have joined the Community. He added that if the number of negative consequences of being in the EU exceeds the number of positives, then we will gotta leave.
"Premier Orban speaks openly present about Hungary leaving the European Union. It was worth winning elections to make Kaczyński's dream about Budapest in Warsaw It never came true. This is besides at the stake of the upcoming elections," Tusk wrote on Thursday.
