On Friday, the head of KPRM Jan Grabic (KO) reported that the DDoS attack on platform.org was underway from 9 a.m. He reported that organization representatives were cooperating with the squad operating in NASK structures to reconstruct website functionality and explain the causes of the event.
The manager of NASK's media and communications division Jacek Dziura confirmed to media on Friday that DDoS attacks on a number of Polish entities, including the Citizen Platform website, are underway. According to him, DDoS attacks on any Polish websites respond to the pro-Russian group NoName057.

In a conversation with PAP, the head of KPRM explained - referring to the attack on the platform.org website - that "through a large number of entries to the site blocks access to it, makes it suspend and cannot function". "We shut down our full server preventively so that there are no further harm going on and we are now working to reconstruct full functionality. So that the pages can be restarted. This concerns the main page of platform.org and the website on which there is simply a deposit form supporting Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign" - said PAP Grabić.
KPRM's chief stressed that he hopes that "this will not affect the campaign" election.
The DDoS attack is an attack on a computer strategy or network service to prevent action by taking all available resources, carried out simultaneously with multiple computers.
