In his address on Saturday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that he would support the chosen direction of changes in the Constitutional Tribunal and guarantee the institution's safety and working conditions. He criticized the actions of president Karol Nawrocki and opposition politicians and supported the intervention of the police. In an earlier statement, the president assessed the events in the Constitutional Tribunal as a violation of the constitutional order and called for the withdrawal of forces sent there, according to him, by the government.
