The gathering of the National safety Council on the safety of the Polish electricity strategy was announced by the president in late April, after a powerful failure affected electricity networks in Spain, Portugal and parts of France - power outages were then paralyzed by traffic, grounded the planes, stopped the railway, trapped many people in elevators and subway cars, and hospitals were working in emergency mode. As the president said at the time, that blackout is simply a "alarm signal" to guarantee the state of our region's energy networks.
