On Friday, the CEO of Hyundai Rotem Lee Yong-bae assured that the company was doing its best to deliver K2 from the first contract to Poland. On Thursday the president of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-jeol expressed hope that the second contract for transportation of K2 tanks to Poland would be signed later this year. Hyundai Rotem produces, among others, K2 tanks purchased by Poland. In 2022, for the erstwhile government, a contract was signed for the transportation of 180 tanks, which are successively delivered to Poland. The current management of the MON negotiates another contract, which assumes the transportation of another 180 K2 tanks, including in a colonized version.
