The president of the Republic of Poland has awarded those who deserve to make transport, including Andrzej Adamczyk

On Friday in Krakow, the president of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, marked the people who deserved to make transport. Among the distinguished are, among others, erstwhile Minister of Infrastructure, presently MP of PiS Andrzej Adamczyk, who received the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.

During the Friday ceremony at the office of the National Bank of Poland in Krakow, the president awarded: Andrzej Adamczyk with the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta; Mateusz Bieńek with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Poland Restituta; Halina Mazurek-Gaca, Andrzej Truszkowski, Radosław Italian with the Golden Cross of Merit; Kamila Tomasik with the Silver Cross of Merit; Maria Łaciak, Kazimierz Ptak, Wacław Samek, Aleksandra Słonina, Barbara Węgrzynek, Joanna Wolarczyk Bronze Cross of Merit.

congratulating letters for the improvement of transport in Małopolskie Voivodeship, the president handed the marshal Łukasz Smółka and the typical of the City and Municipal Office of Wieliczka Tomasz Pałasiński.

The president drew attention to investments that made it easier to travel in Zakopane and on the roads of Krakow. As he mentioned, he himself as a councillor of Krakow, along with another councillors and co-workers of the then-president of the city of Jacek Majchrowski, demanded from the ruling squad of the Civic Platform the implementation of the east bypass of Krakow. The construction of the Krakow bypass was demanding unsuccessfully – as Duda said – for decades.

Special thanks “for Zakopane, the bypass of northern Krakow” was sent by the president to Andrzej Adamczyk. He besides thanked Jack Majchrowski and his colleagues for their cooperation.

Andrzej Duda besides stressed the importance of the investment, making it easier to scope smaller towns and towns. Among another things, he exchanged the railway connection from Krzeszowice to Krakow – the time of the journey takes 16 minutes, and erstwhile it was an hour. The president besides mentioned planned investments, e.g. from Krakow to Massana Dolna – specified a journey by train will take 55 minutes.

"We, distinguished and decorated, are only a part of this squad of people, (...) thanks to which the transport network, public transport in Poland can and could grow so dynamically in fresh years," said the erstwhile Minister of Infrastructure on behalf of the decorated.
