President Karol Nawrocki reported on Thursday that he signed an amendment to the Act on State Labour Inspection (PIP), but directed it to the subsequent evaluation of the Constitutional Court.
The improvement gives PIP powers to convert apparent civilian law contracts and B2B into employment contracts.
President Karol Nawrocki, in a message published on the profile of the President's Chancellery in X, stressed that he inactive has serious doubts about any of the provisions of the improvement – especially those which grant very broad PIP powers to entrepreneurs.
– The state must be strong, but must not be excessive in its interference. The Constitution clearly speaks of the rule of subsidiarity and proportionality. Public authority must not exceed the limits of influence in economical life and this must be clearly assessed," he said.
