President Karol Nawrocki signed an amendment to the Public Finance Act, which aims to complete the improvement of the budget system," the President's Chancellery announced on Wednesday.
It is about amending the Public Finance Act and any another laws. The improvement of the budgetary strategy has been divided into 2 parts. The first – already implemented – includes the medium-term budgetary framework and changes in expenditure reviews. The government introducing the second part of the improvement was included in the bill voted by the Senate, namely changes in the budgetary classification, the budgetary management strategy and the introduction of criteria for assessing public investment.
