President Nawrocki is vetoing a bill to block illegal content on the Internet. He repeats arguments about censorship

Karol Nawrocki vetoed the amendment of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means and any another laws. Its rules force digital platforms to effectively destruct hazardous content e.g. calling for terrorism. The president cited arguments about freedom of speech. "As President, I cannot sign a bill which in practice means administrative censorship" - we read in a statement.
