The president of Madagascar fled the country and dissolved the parliament

Andry Rajoelina, president of Madagascar, who was to leave the country on 13 October aboard a French military aircraft, issued a decree dissolving the chamber of lower parliament, which began the impeachment procedure towards the head of state.
