– I am convinced that you will bring medals – said president Karol Nawrocki to Polish athletes at the Polish Olympic Committee in Warsaw, just before going to the winter games in Italy.
The president thanked the athletes for the collective joy and hope it gives to follow their games. He besides stressed the uniqueness of Polish staff and the challenges of sports competition at Olympic level. “I am arrogant of you as president of Poland,” said Karol Nawrocki.
60 athletes – 32 women and 28 men – were included in the team, approved by the PKOl board. The Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo will last from 6 to 22 February.
