Presidents of Poland and Lithuania: 2 percent of GDP in defence is not enough

Defensive spending of 2% of GDP is insufficient in relation to current threats – the Presidents of Poland and Lithuania assessed, announcing joint efforts to convince allies to increase them. Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda observed on Friday in Dyrmishki in Lithuania Brave Griffin - tactical exercise of brigade level, in which about 200 soldiers of the 15th Mechanized Brigade from Giżycka participate, and the US and Portuguese troops, who sent a division of peculiar naval troops, besides played the function of air support.
