President Karol Nawrocki has decided to veto the notorious amendment to the Animal Protection Act, commonly known as the "chain act". The head of state argues that although the goal is right, the regulations are "badly written" and detached from agrarian realities. In return, the president submitted his own task to the Sejm. The president's decision has caused a fresh version of the dispute between the Presidential Palace and the government. Although both sides agree on the request to improve the destiny of animals, they disagree in executive details, which are of key importance for the inhabitants of the village.
