The Parliamentary Committee on Digitization, Innovation and Emerging Technologies rejected the President's bill on the Breakthrough Technology improvement Fund, which called for the creation of a state fund to finance the improvement of strategical technologies with a budget of up to PLN 5 billion a year. The decision came after a tumultuous meeting, during which the dispute afraid both the procedure for working on the bill and the scope of public consultations. In the end, the committee passed a motion to reject the bill by a vote of 10 to 6.
