Presidential Elections 2024: Rafał Trzaskowski Launches with Action “Citizens Forward”

In the context of the upcoming presidential elections, which will take place in May 2024, Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of the Civic Coalition (KO), began the Polish-wide action "Citizens Forward". The aim of this initiative is to mobilise citizens and straight contact residents across Poland. As part of the action, meetings are planned in dozens of cities, towns and municipalities to advance democratic values specified as honesty, transparency and social engagement.

The "Citizens Forward" action is not only an expression of Rafal Trzaskowski's engagement in social affairs, but besides a consequence of cooperation with local communities. The leaders of KO, including Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski and Jakub Rutnicki, stress that this action is simply a consequence of the success of erstwhile initiatives, specified as “Goals Forward”, which has active more than 15 1000 local governments.

The State Election Commission has already registered 11 candidates in the upcoming presidential elections, including Rafał Trzaskowski. another candidates included: Artur Bartoszewicz, Magdalena Biejat, Grzegorz Braun, Szymon Hołownia, Marek Jakubiak, Sławomir Mentzen, Karol Nawrocki, Joanna Senyszyn, Marek Woch and Adrian Zandberg.
