“Poland is simply a unique ally for president Trump,” stressed president Karol Nawrocki, summarizing talks with the US leader. He added that common relations would be maintained “at the highest ceiling”.
President Karol Nawrocki reported after the gathering at the White home that Poland received “in a clear and strong way” safety guarantees, and military cooperation – possibly in an extended variant – would continue. The president talked to Trump about an increased number of American soldiers in Poland and the improvement of defence infrastructure.
– I will tell you that during the plenary talks we even talked to the president and the ministers about expanding the American soldier component in Poland, which I am peculiarly pleased with. There have been concrete discussions about this task – as quoted by PAP of president Nawrocki.
