President Andrzej Duda did not attend the ceremony inaugurating the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union. His absence sparked a wave of online comments. "Since the president sees the European Union as an 'imaginary community', it's most likely better that he stayed home today. He won't realize the essence of the Polish presidency anyway," said Borys Budka.
