The Polish Association of Defenders of Human Life and the Chair of Sciences on the Catholic household of the University of Lublin John Paul II invites to the 1st National Colloquium of Prenatal Education entitled “Family in the Face of Bioethical Problems – A Normative aspect”, which will be held on 28-29 May 2025 in the Hall of the Faculty of Theology C-1031 of the College of John Paul II KUL. The technological ellipse of Students of KUL household Sciences is active in the preparation of the conference.
The two-day conference will bring together young researchers of obstetrics, nursing, social work, psychology and prenatal pedagogy, bioethics and moral theology. The symposium will start a professorial session, in which introductory lectures will be given by academics representing various subdisciplines of household sciences, headed by prof. Dorothy Kornas-Biela, pioneer of prenatal pedagogy in Poland, and Fr Prof. Mirosław Brzeziński, a associate of the household discipline squad in the technological Excellence Council and chair of the conference's organizational committee. The next 3 sessions will be devoted to speeches by students, graduates and PhD students.
The Colloquium is the culmination of the prenatal education program “Pro-Life Leaders' Couture” implemented in the academic year 2024/2025 in the Polish Association of Defenders of Human Life. The symposium is part of the global household Day celebration and the 30th anniversary of the announcement of the encyclical "Evangelium Vitae". During the conference participants will be able to get free educational materials of the Polish Association of Defenders of Human Life and get acquainted with the pro-life exhibition “We Love all Life” showing the beauty of parenting and prenatal improvement of the child.
