Organized front of the fight against the full heritage of the Church, marginalization of spiritual symbols, persecution of Catholics and attempts to get Christianity out of public and media space – it is not the past, it is our everyday life. This is an in-depth and systemic process of displacing Christianity from public awareness. Calling for "sawing and punishing Catholics", manipulations, accusations or unprecedented assault on the largest of Poles – St. John Paul II – all this to destruct memory, enslave people and fight for the soul of the nation, as Prof. Andrzej Nowak writes in his latest work entitled "The Time to Fight God" (White Raven). This is simply a communicative not only about the demolition of religion, but besides about the heroic defence of dignity and freedom by the Church.

Since the 19th century, since the legalization of leftist parties, there has been an authoritative fight with God. You can even talk about a permanent war against the Christian faith. It was besides a conflict for human dignity all time. After the times of Russian and Austrian repression, after the German Kulturkampf came a minute of remainder in the Second Republic. But then came the cruel and devastating war again, and after it ended, the Stalinist business characterized by a peculiar hatred of God and the Church. After surviving the unfortunate period of the Polish People's Republic, it seemed in the early 1990s that the fight against religion would only stay a grim memory. Unfortunately, godlessness – always bringing only bloody sacrifices – revived, especially after the death of St John Paul II. In the 21st century, which is considered so progressive, the atheization takes on momentum and cruelty again, which we besides experience in Catholic Poland.
The past of the latest fight with God, but besides the past of God's defence in the 20th and 21st centuries, is described in this book by the distinguished historian and thinker Prof. Andrzej Nowak. A shocking description was created, supplemented by no little moving illustrations. This is not only a very crucial reading for all Pole, but besides a memento, which unfortunately does not lose anything on the actuality – on the contrary...
