Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán officially supported Karol Nawrock in the fight for presidency. During his Thursday speech at the CPAC Conference, Hungary Orbán sided with the Polish candidate before the second circular of elections.


The Nationalist Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, for years the ally of US president Donald Trump, spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) – the most crucial convention of the American Right – organized in Budapest.

– Long live Nawrocki – said Orbán a fewer days before the second circular of presidential elections in Poland.

In his speech Viktor Orbán appealed to the alleged "Trump effect" – a Republican triumph in the U.S. presidential election, which, in his opinion, in 2024 triggered a wave of global political change. “He brought hope back to the world,” stressed the Hungarian Prime Minister.

Several election polls have already been published on Thursday. In the latest IBRiS survey for Onetu asked the question, "Which candidate will you vote for in the second circular of elections?".

According to the study, Rafał Trzaskowski can number on 47.7% of support. For Karol Nawrocki, 46 percent of respondents want to vote.

It is worth noting that the advantage of Rafał Trzaskowski is only 1.7 percent points. Meanwhile, the statistical mistake is 3 percent points for each candidate.

Recall: Sunday (1 June) Poles will again decision to the polls in the decisive match for the presidential seat. The second circular of elections will be attended by those mentioned: Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of the Civic Coalition and Karol Nawrocki – supported by the Law and Justice.
