Radosław Sikorski has been Minister of abroad Affairs since the beginning of the coalition's regulation on October 15. Since the end of July, he has besides been Deputy Prime Minister in the government of Donald Tusk. Rumor has it he would lead the power camp to the 2027 parliamentary election.
Could Sikorski be Prime Minister? Poles responded in the poll
The Institute for marketplace and Social investigation (IBRiS) commissioned by Radio ZET checked how Poles measure the political comparison between Donald Tuski and Radosław Sikorski. Respondents were asked, "Would you say that Radosław Sikorski would be a better prime minister than Donald Tusk?"
According to the survey, 34.7% of respondents believe that the current abroad minister would have worked better as head of government than Donald Tusk. In this group, 14.6% indicated the consequence "yes definitely", and 20.1% indicated "more or little so".
The other opinion was expressed by 40,1 percent of respondents – including 31 percent indicated "not necessarily", and 9,6 percent "not definitely". Almost 1 in 4 respondents (24.8%) admitted that they had no opinion on the substance or that they were hard to answer.
The poll besides shows that more KO voters, but besides PiS or Confederacy accept Tusk more in the seat of the head of government. The option "yes" was indicated by 39 percent of KO supporters, 27 percent of PiS voters and 23 percent of Confederate sympathizers. In turn, the "no" option chose 52% of KO sympathizers, 32 percent of people voting for the Law and Justice and 31 percent of Confederate voters. As far as the voters of Poland 2050 and PSL are concerned, 62 percent of respondents from this group think that Sikorski would be a better prime minister than Tusk. Another opinion is 29 percent of respondents.
Sikorski leader of trust among Poles
Let us besides say that the IBRiS studio commissioned by Onetu has late conducted a ranking of assurance in politicians. In July the first place was Karol Nawrocki, then the president of the elect. In the August survey, however, he recorded a marked decrease. Head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski was the leader of the report.
Trust in the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of abroad Affairs declared 41.8 percent of respondents. This is simply a decrease of 0.4 percent points compared to July. In contrast, 45.4% of respondents do not trust Sikorski, and 11.3 percent have a neutral attitude towards politics.
Sikorski returned to first position after a two-month break. Nawrocki, on the another hand, took second place (he trusts 41.3 percent of the respondents, and 48 percent have a negative opinion of him). This means a failure of assurance of 5.5 percent points.
The 3rd place in the ranking belonged to Rafał Trzaskowski. The president of Warsaw obtained 39.9% (a drop of 0.6 percent points). 51.7% of respondents, on the another hand, declared a deficiency of trust against him and 8.4 percent remained indifferent.
