When asked at a press conference whether the dispute between the current U.S. administration and Denmark and part of NATO states meant a hazard to Poland and the east flank of the Alliance, Tusk said: “Everything that weakens transatlantic solidarity carries certain risks. Poland is most likely the most intense country – in spite of different circumstances – trying to keep the strongest possible American-European ties, due to the fact that that is how we specify safety and Poland and the full continent.".
