The military decision was right.
Donald Tusk, along with defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish and head of the Ministry of Interior Marcin Kierwiński, came to Tarnawy-Kolonia, Lublin, where a rocket fell last night. The Prime Minister stressed that the fast recognition of all circumstances of the event is crucial for the services and prosecutors. He noted that the incidental was part of an extended Russian attack on Ukraine, during which manoeuvring missiles were struck. He added that this time it was without casualties and severe damage. The Prime Minister linked the event in Lublin with the war going on behind the east border of Poland and appealed for further military support for Ukraine. As he stressed, strengthening Ukrainian air defence could reduce the hazard of akin incidents in Poland.
Marcin Kierwiński, the head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, besides talked about the state's actions following the breach of the Polish airspace. According to the authorities, the military and civilian services reacted in accordance with applicable procedures.
The head of the MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish assessed that the military had made the right decision and effectively controlled the situation. His words indicate that he was deliberately dismissed from trying to shoot down a rocket. The Minister explained that as Poland remains at peace, the usage of combat measures requires hazard analysis and action in accordance with the applicable procedures.

On Wednesday night, Thursday, during an intense Russian attack on Ukraine, there was a breach of Polish airspace. Around 3.40 p.m., the military detected an unidentified object, and a fewer minutes later in Lublin and parts of the region were spread out by alarm sirens. The absence of the RCB Alert raised questions from locals, journalists and experts. During a conference in Tarnawy-Kolonia, Prime Minister Donald Tusk explained that consequence time was crucial in the face of the threat.
Donald Tusk explained that due to the rapidly developing threat of the siren were in this situation the fastest way to inform residents. At the same time, he acknowledged that the strategy needs to be changed, especially in terms of communication after the alarm has been completed. The Prime Minister announced that after cancelling the threat residents should receive text messages informing them that the situation is safe. He added that fresh solutions are to be developed in a short time. He besides admitted that the cognition of the rules of operation of the alarm strategy and safety procedures among Poles is inactive insufficient.
Minister of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Marcin Kierwiński informed that after the breach of the Polish airspace the SPO-13 procedure was launched and the sirens were considered the fastest way to inform the inhabitants. A spokesperson for the Karolina Galecka department added that the services were considering sending the RCB Alert, but they withdrew from this solution as the threat rapidly subsided. The rocket flew about 100 km above Poland's territory before falling into the field.
