This money will come to us anyway," announced Prime Minister Donald Tusk just before the peculiar gathering of the Council of Ministers in connection with the President's veto against the SAFE Act. The Prime Minister powerfully criticized Karol Nawrocki's decision. “The facts are absolutely cruel to the President’s reputation,” said the head of government.

The Prime Minister made a message before the government meeting. It recalled the genesis of the European SAFE programme. He pointed out that it was Poland itself that sought and pressed Brussels to make a mechanics for financing arms investments in the European Union. The Prime Minister stressed that the government would anyway implement the "Army Poland" programme, i.e. financing arms investments from European loans. To this end, it will adopt a peculiar resolution.

– The President's veto didn't halt us or halt us. We'll adopt a resolution to get that money to us. We will have a much more serious work to make without the bill. I can promise it to Poland today. This programme will be implemented – emphasised Donald Tusk.

RECLAMA

– Today, very harsh words come out. People in Poland wonder if it is treason, whether it is the action of lobbyists, deficiency of common sense. I will not wonder what the real reasons for the President's negative action are. 1 thing must be certain: the deficiency of a signature is simply a serious obstacle for everyone who prepared a large programme of armed and safe Poland," added the Prime Minister.

He added that past would justice the president's decision negatively. He stressed that SAFE had support in the east states of the NATO flank. "Everywhere in Europe they wonder what happened as possible, only in Russian newspapers is "full understanding". I will not insinuate anything, facts are absolutely cruel to the president's reputation," said the Prime Minister.

– Our answer must be constructive," added Donald Tusk. – We will adopt a resolution on the basis of which we will implement the programme “Army Poland”. It will be harder, it will be slower sometimes, it will take a lot more effort to convince everyone involved, due to the fact that there will be no applicable regulations. We'll gotta trust on our own strength, our own energy, but we will. The resolution will let us to run the program. This is our answer – announced the Prime Minister.
