Pratt & Whitney Rzeszow and the Air Military Academy grow their education opportunities for modern aircraft engines. Training will include advanced F100 and F135 jet engines.
ROAD, (5 December, 2024) – Pratt & Whitney, a company owned by RTX (NYSE: RTX), reported that P&W plants in Rzeszów signed a letter of intent with the Military Aviation Academy in Dęblin on long-term training cooperation in advanced F100 and F135 engines, which are the exclusive propulsion of Polish F-16 and F35 fighter aircraft.

Pratt & Whitney Rzeszów manufactures static F100 engine structures and critical rotating parts utilized to produce both fresh and in-service F100 engines. In July 2024, Pratt & Whitney announced the transportation of the first of the next tranches of F100 engines to Poland to increase the F-16 fleet's readiness. In November, the company signed a letter of intent with Military Aviation Plants No. 2 S.A., concerning an increase in the capacity for repairs and repairs (MRO) of F100 engines.
If Poland decides to get F-15EX fighters to increase its defence capabilities, then the F100 to F-15EX engine is the best possible choice.
