The evidence introduced by the Senators states that repayment of loans granted to Poland under the EU SAFE programme for the acquisition of arms will not charge the budget of the Ministry of National Defence, and the costs of servicing debt will be borne by the general state budget. The authors of the amendment stress that this amendment is intended to facilitate the adoption of the Act and to remove doubts about the sustainability of MON finances.
