Wasted Couture and their unique handicraft workshops

Wasted Couture is simply a fantastic squad that designs and produces professional costumes for movies and series. For 10 years, they have been utilizing fabrics, paints, metallic and fire, making spectacular costumes. During the workshops, the Wasted Couture squad will show you step by step, like a simple, forgotten coat to make a unique costume component – something that looks like taken consecutive out of the movie plan.

Anna Rottau and Mateusz Jasinski – next fantastic guests of the Workshop Zone

We can tell you now that Anna Rottau and Mateusz Jasinski, who will besides power the ranks of the Guests of the Workshop Zone, are preparing something fantastic for you. What? We'll tell you soon, but you can anticipate large workshops!

Ania and Mateusz are graduates of the Department of Conservation and Restaurant of Works of Art of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.

Matthew is presently conducting classes at the Technology and Copy laboratory of the 17th-XIXth century. Moreover, he specializes in reconstruction of paintings and reproduction of old painting techniques, he is simply a recipient of the Scholarship of the Minister of discipline and Higher Education for prominent young scientists in 2025. In addition to his work at the university, he is active in painting pictures and elements of setography for movie production, including: “Powidoks“, “Kos”, “Wedding 2”, “The Hidden Game”, “Other People”, “How I became a gangster”. He is the author of paintings for the series “1670”, “Doll” (Netflix), “Heelius”. Privately, he is an admirer and collector of comic books and a immense fan of Nintendo.

Ania, together with Mateusz, conducts classes in the 17th–XIXth century laboratory of Technology and Copy Studio, where she deals with a copy of painting and ancient artistic techniques. In 2024 she became a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage – as part of the scholarship task she performed a reconstruction of the missing image of Henryk Siemiradzki "Antonysz and Cleopatra". He besides maintains works of art and painting. She worked, among others, on the medieval Teutonic shield from the Museum of the Polish Army, co-created paintings for the series "1670", and her last task was eagles on the banner for the phase plan of the Blik advertisement. After hours, she works in a cosplay environment as Lynx Den: she creates costumes, sits on the jury of cosplay competitions, represented Poland at the ICL finals and appeared on the Maskarada phase many times.
