The fair, organized under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Interior and Administration, the Chief Executive Officer of the PSP and the Association of Volunteer Fire Guards of Poland, in cooperation with the PSP office and the Government strategical Reserve Agency, attracted both fire professionals and fire enthusiasts. For 2 days, representatives of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, the management of the KG of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the RARS hosted the Kielce Fair. The programme did not deficiency any substantive debates and expert meetings, especially the PSP Main Command Conference, which discussed key challenges in the area of civilian protection, alarm systems and verification of protective structures in the light of the fresh regulations. The conference highlighted the importance of combining technology, operational experience and effective organization cooperation in the area of crisis management. The topics addressed not only reflect current challenges, but besides outline an ambitious imagination of the future of citizens' safety in Poland. The conclusions of the debates may form the basis for further legislative and strategical reforms.
