Following a gathering on the alleged drone wall, EU Defence Commissioner Andrius Kubilius reported that a task called “East Flanka Guard” would be created. The drone wall is to be part of it.
The east Flank defender is expected to cover respective levels related to the safety of the European Union border states located on the east flank. In addition to the alleged drone wall, it is intended to include a terrestrial and marine component.
The drone wall gathering was attended by 9 EU countries. Poland was represented by defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
