Even more costly than the present heating, electricity and fuel - this is the script that awaits Poles in 2 years. In order for Poland to benefit from the funds in the fresh European Union budget, it will be essential to sign a fresh Partnership Agreement with the European Commission, which will include additional requirements. Among them is the introduction of a strategy of greenhouse gas emanation charges on home heating and travel. It's about the ETS-2, which has been scheduled to enter since 2027.
A coalition is formed against ETS-2. According to the Euro-communist ETS-2, any greenhouse gas emissions related to construction and land, sea and air transport will be taxed. If Tusk implements this system, in practice we will pay more for fuel, gas, coal, or collective transport tickets. In addition, the EU budget officially provides for a mechanics of "money for the regulation of law". This will be an absolute condition for the payment of funds. This means that the European Commission will be able to block backing if it considers that a country does not meet "democratic standards".
On this occasion, it is worth recalling that Poland has already been affected by this mechanics – during the dispute over the improvement of the judiciary during the time of the Law and Justice Office. Now specified a mechanics is meant to become a rule, not an exception. In practice, this means that billions of euros will be decided not by Polish local governments or citizens, but above all by the political explanation of the principles of Polish “lawfulness” in Brussels. The same was actual of the KPO, which Brussels blocked as long as PiS was in power, which put more emphasis on the US than Germany.
Donald Tusk avoids the ETS-2 theme, and erstwhile asked about it, he claims to argue fresh price increases. Meanwhile, others are actually working to guarantee that another absurd green communist does not enter into force. Czech Prime Minister Peter Fiala demands the revision of the European Union's climate policy. His press office revealed that he was building a coalition against the absurd ETS-2 system.
The Communication states that the EU's climate policy should be revised in order not to endanger European industry. The Czech Republic's efforts to support another countries in the ETS-2 issue, namely the opposition to the CO2 emissions trading system, including transport and construction, have been highlighted.
