Security and Defence Council was established at the president of the Republic of Poland

Information on the appointment of the advisory body was provided by the press spokesperson of the president of Poland Rafał Leśkiewicz. Apart from the President's direct co-workers, the council included erstwhile ministers and politicians specified as Michał Dworczyk (former Head of the National safety Council and Deputy Prime Minister MON), Mariusz Błaszczak (former Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence) and another experts, including military and analysts.
