A massive detonation at a rocket mill in Russia

As a consequence of the detonation at the mill close Riazania in Russia, at least 20 people were killed and 134 injured, reported the agency Reuters.

Initially, 5 fatalities and about 20 wounded were reported. The detonation resulted in a fire that included a rocket warehouse and a workshop producing kal missiles. 152 mm, utilized in drumbics and self-propelled guns.

According to the Russian agency RIA Nowosti data, this is the sixteenth detonation in Russian factories and powder stores in the last 7 years.

The Elastik factory, since 2021 producing weapons and gas generators for the Navy, had already had tragic accidents. In 2021, the detonation killed 17 people, and after the investigation, the company chief and CEO were convicted.
