In the July poll of assurance in politicians conducted by IBRiS for Onetu Szymon Hołownia obtained a consequence that signals a serious image crisis of the talker of the Sejm. Only a fewer months ago, he was at the summit, enjoying the support of more than half of Poles. Today, almost symbolically, he ends the ranking as a politician whom he trusts the least. This distrust is declared by 62.9 percent of respondents, and only 18.5 percent trust Holowna.

— This consequence shows the scale of the problems of the Marshal of the Sejm and there is no indication of a solution,” says Onet a political scientist, Prof. UW Rafał Chwedoruk. “ Yes, there have been spectacular political returns from political non-existence, as shown by Jerzy Buzek or Waldemar Pawlak, but seldom return to roles as crucial as before. In addition, Holownia lacks the powerful asset that the remainder of the returnees had," says the expert.

— Behind him there is no powerful party, having structures and strength. So we don't truly know who would make it easier for him to come back. It turned out to be an episode in Polish politics – says prof. Chwedoruk.

What's the fatal result of Holowna? “He bid advanced and lost. Besides, his views on any issues are not known"

The powerful decline of Holowna in a trust survey is not surprising, according to the expert. — Even today, to a tiny degree associated with political ideas, it is worth presenting a set of views in a balanced way. Donald Tusk, Jarosław Kaczyński or Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz or Vladimir Czarzasty have been presenting a canon of views for years. In the case of Simon Holownia and his party, things don’t seem so simple, for example, with respect to the right to interrupt pregnancy, says a political scientist.

— And 1 more thing, pop politics, says prof. Chwedoruk. “In the function of political leaders, people began to debut outside organization politics specified as Paweł Kukiz, Janusz Palikot or Ryszard Petru. At first it was loud about them, they were abruptly getting quite a few support, but a minute later interest fell,” the expert explains.

— Today, in order to exist, celibrist politicians must constantly prepare any fresh show, otherwise they go distant into oblivion. And so it happened to Holovnia, due to the fact that specified a policy, based more on form than content, ceases to be very rapidly attractive to voters," says Prof. Chwedoruk. “ And this deficiency of a large organization structure behind the Holovnia, which can dampen the leader’s failures, ” he explains. “ The Marshal of the Sejm lacked this, and after the visit to Adam Bielan the image crisis began,” says the political scientist.

Is there a rescue for the Holrow? “If he binds to the right, he will be in a social vacuum”

“For Simon Holown there is no longer a return to the function of a subjective politician, even if there are inactive high-profile claims of crushing Putin or resisting a coup,” says prof. Chwedoruk.

“Yes, he can last in serious politics as an MP or senator, so on functions far from expectations from fresh years,” the expert points out.

— At best, he could share the destiny of Katarzyna Lubnauer and Modern, becoming the leader of the satellite towards the PO formation, unless Holowna itself is besides late for that, due to the expanding distance of the PO towards him. And if he started a drift towards the PiS, he'd be in a non-alternative situation, due to the fact that he'd play a short-term function on the right. The destiny of the current talker of the Sejm makes us appreciate the function of conventional political parties, and for politicians it should be a reminder that politics is simply a squad game and it is very valuable to be able to restrain their own ambitions," concludes prof. Chwedoruk.
