In the Sunday parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, the Progressive Coalition of Bulgaria took the decisive lead, gaining about 43.7 percent of the votes – according to the first authoritative figures of the Central Election Commission.
The coalition is headed by erstwhile president Rumen Radew, who resigned in January to take part in the elections after a period of prolonged political crisis and a wave of protests. Preliminary results indicate a clear triumph for his group.
The second position was taken by the GERB party, led by erstwhile Prime Minister Bojko Borisov, with support of 14.8 percent, and the 3rd coalition We proceed to change-Democratic Bulgaria with a consequence of 13.1 percent. The next seats were the DPS-New Beginning of Delian Peewski (9.2%), the Nationalist Revival (5.3%) and the Bulgarian Socialist Party, which reached the electoral threshold with the consequence of 4%.

Multiple election irregularities?
