Hastily active in the “Justice Fund” affair? Mraz tapes indicate that

Former manager of the Justice Fund Department, Tomasz Mraz, recorded talks by the Ministry of Justice for almost 2 years. TVP Info revealed further fragments of these recordings, in which the name of Jan Więszalski appears. In consequence to these reports, writer Poszymalski issued a statement.

Tomasz Mraz appeared on 22 May at a gathering of the Parliamentary Law and Justice Settlement squad chaired by Roman Gierty. During this gathering Mraz alleged that the competitions announced by the Justice Fund were held unfairly. He pointed to irregularities in the way in which those competitions were conducted which affected the transparency and integrity of the activities of the Ministry of Justice.

– Many initiatives aimed at combating the causes of crime have not been achieved due to the fact that there has been a advice that this another organisation is to win – Mraz claimed.

TVP Info gained access to recordings on which a conversation was heard between Mraz and then Deputy Minister of Justice, Marcin Romanowski. They discussed details of the competition for the allocation of funds from the Justice Fund. In the video, the Deputy Minister asks Mraz whether he will be able to arrange funds for respective different entities within a single competition.
