Portugal ready to send peacekeeping troops to Ukraine. Prime Minister's declaration

Portugal is ready to send its troops to Ukraine as part of a stabilization mission, Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro announced on the night of Thursday to Friday after an extraordinary summit of EU leaders in Brussels. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni assessed that "the extension of NATO's Article 5 would be a lasting solution" for peace, while French president Emmanuel Macron argued that the EU should strengthen its defence capabilities by purchasing weapons in Europe.
