Portugal bought the first AIM-9X Sidewinder

On 9 November, the United States Naval Air Command (NAVAIR) reported that the Portuguese government had signed an intergovernmental LOA agreement to acquisition the first batch of guided Raytheon AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles for its own use.
