Populists give themselves the right to negate the result of elections

The populists consistently claim to be expressors of the people's actual will. This is simply a strong argument for them to negate the result of all election they lose. If the actual voice of the people is represented, election defeat should be impossible. We saw this both in 2021 at the Capitol and now in Brazil.
