The Confederation's press conference, on the establishment of an investigation committee to analyse the visa scandal, attended by press spokesperson Ewa Zajęczkowska-Hernik and Krzysztof Mulawa, 19 December 2023.
Krzysztof Mulawa:
– We request settlement of mass and uncontrolled immigration. As a Confederate, we besides request an open public debate on the consequences of mass, uncontrolled immigration in Poland. We must make this clear to ourselves and constantly repeat that mass uncontrolled immigration – whether legal or illegal – always leads to irreversible lasting effects in the social fabric. We see it in Western European countries. And we as representatives of the people, the Confederates, have a work to act in specified a way as not to make mistakes for Western European countries.
Let us remind that the visa scandal that broke out in the summertime of that year was created in the building of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, with the participation of the politicians of the Law and Justice and was based on corruption, making money on mass immigration.
The Confederacy wants a real settlement of PiS politicians and visa scandals. And that's why present our position will, of course, be that we will vote in favour of the formation of the committee of enquiry (...).
