The legislature passed a bill amending regulations on fuel and energy safety of the state.
The amendment includes:
gradual simplification of mandatory oil and fuel stock days from 50 to 45 days to 2027,
the anticipation for undertakings to order the Agency to keep stocks of mandatory natural gas,
the introduction of fresh rules for the functioning of the Fuel Platform Portal - in the event of its inaccessibility, the time limits for the submission of papers will be automatically extended,
clarification of the rules for calculating mandatory stocks and their yearly adjustment.
The Act aims to increase the flexibility of the fuel and gas reserves strategy and to improve the energy safety of Poland.
