Why did the authorities lie to Poles until the end in September 1939?
In order to justify the journalists of the time, it should be stressed that in September 1939, the newspapers operating under the conditions of military censorship had to reprint the authoritative transmission of propaganda information to the Polish Ministry of Publicity and the Military Office for Propaganda Coordination. It was the institutions of the state, already 1 ft in Romania at the time, that were liable for deceiving the public to the last minute.
