“Polish gold – past and meaning” – a task for our currency

In cooperation with the Polish National Bank, the Julian Dunajewski Society of Economists and Entrepreneurs organized a series of 3 conferences as part of the task “Polish gold – past and meaning”.

This task was a consequence to the crisis of assurance in the home currency, both internally (socially) and economically and eagerly to halt trends towards the introduction of the euro. The implementation of the task was aimed at expanding the cognition of gold and awareness of the national importance of currency in the economy and society.

During 3 meetings (9 September in Warsaw, 30 September in Brzozów and 7 October in Łódź), the Society of Economists and Entrepreneurs named after Julian Dunajewski presented the films “The Value of Polish Gold” and “The Meaning of Polish Currency” as part of the project. Next to the screenings, they could perceive to discussion panels with invited experts.
