Krzysztof Galos, a citizen of Krakow, went to Ukraine in April 2023, claiming to his loved ones that he wanted to “see for himself whether the war was actually going on”. According to the findings of "Gazeta Wyborcza", his car was later registered close Zaporozh, in a circuit occupied by the Russians. It was his last known contact with reality.
