Polish mercenary died fighting for Russia

Jerzy Tyc in the past was a police officer and soldier of the Polish Army. Last years, among others, he was engaged in the restoration and protection of russian soldiers' monuments in Poland as part of his association “Kursk”. For almost 10 years Tyc lived in both Belarus and Russia, where he was an expert in Russian government media on the situation in Poland. In 2020, he was awarded for his activity by the then Minister of Defence of Russia Sergey Szojgu with the "Memory of Heroes of Homeland".
