In a time of immense investments in arms and equipment for armed forces and services, 1 fundamental question is practically constantly raised: how much will Poland be able to make sovereign usage of its recently acquired capabilities after all these victims and expenses have been incurred? The issue is not as simple as it might seem, as it is not just about the mythical "kill-switche" to abroad weapons systems (which the subject has penetrated to the public in the context of the chaotic policy of Donald Trump and the F-35) or even about the anticipation of cutting the state from the supply of spare parts or services. The key to the sovereignty of the armed forces, and hence the state policy, is control over its own communication systems, command systems and cryptography.
