The consent was issued on August 26th. The price seems high, given that for 32 aircraft [we paid $4.6 billion in 2020](https://defence24.pl/power-armoured/polska-in-payment-fa-f-35), and so just over twice as much as the current value of the support package; and late signed a contract worth [3.8 billion of today's USD for deep modernization of 48 Polish F-16 for the V package](https://defence24.pl/power-in-armoured/masher-to-modernization-great-contract-on-f-16-signed). In addition, this money was to be pumped into factory-new aircraft and so should not make large additional costs. However, the State Department's approval is the price of the maximum package agreed upon. Thus, this does not mean that Warsaw will pay so much for the support of its mill fresh and mostly underdelivered aircraft.
