Poland strengthens the rocket shield. First usage of the Vistula system

The Polish Army carried out the first combat shooting of the Vistula strategy with the IBCS at the post. The demonstration of modern air defence capabilities of our country took place in the presence of Prime Minister Donald Tusk (68 l.) and Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (44 l.). This historical exercise is simply a step towards full combat readiness, strengthening the safety of Poland and allied cooperation with NATO. It all took place as part of the “Iron Defender-25” and “Autumn Fire-25” maneuvers, which gather about 30,000 soldiers, including allies from the US, Sweden and Norway.

The Vistula strategy is an advanced anti-aircraft and mid-range rocket defence program, implemented as part of the modernization of the Polish armed forces, based on American Patriot kits. This technology is simply a key component of the multilayer rocket shield. Poland is putting this strategy into service as the first country in the world.
