"Lithuania, like Poland, Latvia and Estonia, has announced withdrawal from the Anti-personnel Mines Convention," the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence reported. In social media, he published a joint message by the ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland on the issue of a withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention.
The Ottawa Convention is an global agreement which includes a ban on the production, use, retention and transfer of anti-personnel mines.
