Tusk, utilizing the DSA Digital Services Act, wanted to introduce censorship online more than a year before the election campaign. Saying the bill was expected to be a protection against pedophile content is just talking. If there's no evidence of what this bill is about, then it's apparent it's not about that.
Below is simply a summary of how many times on the 55 pages of this law, there are words about the protection of children, minors or kid molesters:
children – 0
underage – 0
pedophile content – 0
There are also words in the bill:
Police – 8 times
removal – 14
penalties – 17
You will admit that this is simply a very cool tool to combat uncomfortable criticism from the opposition before the elections. Karol Nawrocki, vetoing this bill, thwarted KO's plans to censor content on the net and one more time showed Tusk that it was Poland and not Belarus!
